Winery review: This polished red is fresh, focused and expressive, delivering black cherry, cassis, toast, cinammon and smoke flavors. Plush, but has enough tannins for balance.
My review: Spicy, dark fruit, and vanilla cream on the nose. VERY dry and medium-bodied. Cherry fruit come through in the mid-palate. Somewhat hot finish.
I tasted this on its own without food.
